Radio North Sea International (RNI) began test broadcasting in January 1970, marking the start of a new decade of offshore radio broadcasting.

RNI had a chequered history and, in its early days, many changes in frequency - which caused problems in terms of producing publicity stickers. The station eventually settled on 220m as its regular medium wave (AM) frequency and this was reflected in many of the stickers produced by, or in support of, the station.

The Art of the Sticker - 2

The Dutch service (Radio Nordzee International) collaborated with various advertisers or sponsors to produce publicity stickers.
