Radio Atlantis came on the air in July 1973, initially from the Radio Caroline ship, MV Mi Amigo. The first publicity material included the originally planned frequency (210m) which was never actually used. 385m was used while the station broadcast from the Mi Amigo.

After moving to its own ship Radio Atlantis used a number of different frequencies but the one used for the longest period (312m) was reflected in many of the publicity stickers.
