Transmitter

1 x 50Kw medium wave transmitter (donated to the project by Telediffusion France (TDF) - previously used by Sud Radio in Andorra).


Also an FM transmitter



Aerial

The aerial was an end fed type attached to the top of the ‘A’ frame mast.

Studio

Two studios - an on-air studio and a production facility-as well as two editing suites were constructed on board the Droit de Parole.

Communications to and from the ship by the journalists, both to their contacts in the former Yugoslavia and to other countries was made through an  Inmarsat satellite facility, as well as marine telephone, cellular telephone and a direct radio link.
